1.      DMP approves the following documents:

3.      DMP requests its members and outside parties to make in-depth contributions on their requirements for Interoperable DRM Platform and Interoperable End-user Device from their viewpoint in the value chain. A suggested model is DMP0098. Use of DMP Terminology (DMP0147) is recommended.

5.      DMP approves its work plan  (DMP0143). The document is public.

6.      DMP plans a workshop on “Analogue legacies in the digital space” to be held in Barcelona on 2004/10/25. The purpose of the workshop is to take a first step identifying business-related analogue legacies and their origins, and discuss their role in a future digital space where DMP specifications will be deployed. DMP encourages the establishment of a promotion group to raise awareness of and participation in the workshop. People interested in joining this promotion group should contact Marc Gauvin (mgauvin@sdae.net)

7.      DMP notes the following communications from the Board

a.       Starting from GA04 participation in DMP General Assemblies will only be possible for DMP members. Exceptions to this rule will be approved by the Board.

b.      Respondents to the PAV CfP will be invited to attend the pre-meeting on 2004/10/26 and GA04 on 2004/10/27-29

11.  DMP would like to thank the participants in the DMP Workshop on “Rebuilding bridges between industry and standardisation” for their contributions, Takuyo Kogure for its organisation and Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. for hosting the event.

12.  DMP would like to thank the non-members who have attended GA03 and offered valuable contributions to the discussions. This has helped making possible to produce a high-quality Call for Proposals and associated Requirements for Portable Audio and Video Devices.

13.  DMP would like to thank Ikuo Minakata, Kenichi Nakamura and Takanori Senoh of Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. for providing an effective working environment and an outstanding support for GA03. The social event on 13^th of July is particularly appreciated.
