Preliminary public information on the DMP

Ad hoc meeting on Evaluation of Responses to PAV CfP
(Barcelona, ES - 2004/10/26T09:00-18:00)

Background

At its 3rd General Assembly held in Osaka on 2004/07/13-15 the Digital Media Project issued a Call for Proposals (CfP) on Portable Audio and Video Devices (PAV) satisfying a set of Requirements. Interested parties, irrespective of their membership in DMP, were invited to respond to the Call by 2004/10/20.

Purpose

As DMP expects a significant number of responses to the Call, GA03 decided to hold an ad hoc meeting with the purpose of

1. hearing presentation of proposals by respondents

2. discussing and evaluating the proposals

3. reporting its findings to GA04 whose meeting starts the following day

Participants

The following individuals are eligible to attend

• DMP members
• Those responding to the the PAV Call for Proposals
• Those wishing to join DMP in 2005
• Exceptionally non members with the agreement of the DMP Board of Directors.

All attendees are requested to inform the DMP Secretariat (secretariat@dmpf.org) of their intention to attend.
