Lausanne is a rather small city with good transportation facilities. It is recommended that you select an accommodation in the center of Lausanne or in the Ouchy area (by the Lake). EPFL can be reached easily from Center of Lausanne and from Ouchy either by Taxi (20 minutes ride, 25 CHF) or by Metro.
