How to join

There are several ways for you to get involved in the Digital Media Project (DMP).

The first way is to subscribe to the Digital Media Manifesto (DMM) reflector. The DMM identified 7 major actions to set in motion the stalling Digital Media to the satisfaction of creators, value-chain players and end users. See the documents contributed by a grass-root organisation that generated the DMM To subscribe to the DMM reflector please send an email to leonardo@chiariglione.org.

The second way is to subscribe to the Digital Media Project (DMP) reflector. This reflector, the natural continuation of the DMM reflector, keeps on producing documents that are highly relevant to the DMP work plan. To subscribe to the DMP reflector please send an email to leonardo@chiariglione.org.

The third way is to subscribe to the Digital Media Project ad hoc groups reflectors. To join follow the instructions given at the links.

The fourth - and recommended - way is to formally join DMP. Since its formal establishment as a not-for-profit organisation in Geneva on 2003/12/01 legal entities may join the DMP. Terms for individual membership will be determined shortly.

  1. Sign the DMP Statutes and send the signed original to

  2. Send 4,000 CHF yearly membership fees to

  3. Please note that for accounting reasons the amount transferred should be

    1. 4,000 CHF
    2. net of transfer and currency conversion expenses
       
  4. Send an email to secretariat@digital-media-project.org communicating the execution of the two steps above. You may like to attach the scanned last page of the Statutes with your signature to your mail

You can also join as an individual. In this case the year3y membership fees are reduced to 1,000.00 €.

An invoice will be sent upon receipt of your remittance. If you need an invoice to pay membership fees, please state so in a mail to secretariat@digital-media-project.org.
