The 8th General Assembly (GA08) of the Digital Media Project will be held on 2005/10/05-07 at

GA08 will follow the meetings of

1. Ad hoc Group on editing the IDP-2 Working Drafts
2. Ad hoc Group on Functions and Requirements .

Both ad hoc group meetings will be held on 2005/10/03-04 at the same venue.

If you intend to attend the DMP events please note the following

• Communicate your intention to attend to
  • the DMP Secretariat (secretariat@dmpf.org) by 25th of August
• Attendance at the Ad hoc group meeting and DMP General Assemblyis reserved to
  • DMP members
  • Exceptionally non members with the agreement of the DMP Board of Directors.

The principal objectives of the meeting are

   1. Approved Documents 1-3 WD 3.0
   2. Approved Documents 4-6 WD 2.0
   3. Approved Document 7 WD 3.0
   4. Approved Documents 8-9 WD 1.0
   5. Draft Call for Proposals on DMP Content Registration Authority
   6. IDP Functions and Requirements WD 5.0
2. Publication of the following document
   1. Call for Proposals on Interoperable DRM Platform, Phase III

Travel information

Air accessibility

• Several direct international routes connect Jeju to major cities. Entry and departure policies have been established for Jeju applying nowhere else in Korea: those who otherwise could not, including individual tourists from China, may enter without a visa. Visitors may stay for 30 days without visa.
• There are three ways to fly to Jeju Island: direct international flight, transfer to Jeju directly from Incheon International Airport, or transfer by bus to Gimpo Airport and then to Jeju. Click here for Air Line Information

• Room charges :   Twin room for 120,000 Korean won (All taxes and service charges included)
