Staying in Turin is the preferred solution for those who aim to have an experience of the old capital of the "Kingdom of Sardinia" that unified Italy almost 150 years ago and has been thoroughly renovated from its past of "Italian Detroit" on the occasion of the past Winter Olympics. If you want to stay closer to the meeting venue you can choose a hotel near the lakeside of the Lago di Avigliana and savour a bit of history by contemplating the millennium old imposing Sagra di San Michele towering from 1,000 metres above. Two hotels are suggested
